Mandy and Mich Media is a multimedia production company and digital content house. Our mission is to amplify Black stories and storytellers.

Amanda Washington and Michelai Graham, two Black millennial women freelance reporters, co-founded M&MM together in 2022. Mandy and Mich met in graduate school at American University in 2017, and the pair have been inseparable ever since.

Meet Mandy

Michelai Graham is a distinguished journalist and media professional with a fervent interest in technology, crypto, and investigative reporting. She was raised by a single mom in Sacramento, California, along with her five older sisters and one younger brother, forming a close-knit and supportive family.

With a journalism degree from Michigan State University and a master's in journalism and public affairs from American University, Michelai rapidly made her mark in the industry.

Since March 2022, Michelai has been a Web3 and Tech Reporter at Boardroom, where she covers cryptocurrency, NFTs, blockchain, virtual reality, AI, and gaming. Her insightful reporting has garnered widespread recognition, establishing her as a trusted authority in tech and crypto.

Before her current role, Michelai excelled as a Freelance Tech Reporter and Editor from January 2018 to March 2022. Her work appeared in AfroTech, HubSpot, The Plug, GreenBiz, Lifewire, and she contributed to TripSavvy, The Balance, and Investopedia as a copy-editor and fact-checker
